1. You are talking to an AI
Symbocar is an AI assistant. Everything it does for you — assisting you with problems or symptoms, finding shops, recording appointments, updating your vehicles and mileage, logging completed service on your instruction — is done by an AI system, not a human.
Symbocar provides: vehicle-issue assistance — informational support, presented as a hypothesis for your review, never a substitute for a hands-on inspection by a qualified technician; logistical help — finding service providers, adding appointments, logging completed work; and record actions — registering and updating your vehicles, mileage, and service book on your instruction.
Symbocar can make mistakes. For safety-critical systems — brakes, steering, suspension, fuel, airbags, wheels — always have a qualified technician confirm before you continue driving. Symbocar is a supportive product/instrument that provides assistance to its user — never a substitute for a human's final decision or decision-making process.
Anything Symbocar writes to your records (for example, logging an issue to your vehicle's health dashboard) can be reviewed and dismissed by you at any time.
2. One assistant
You interact with one agent: Symbocar. Internally, the Service may run multiple specialized model calls to answer you. Every message the Assistant sends is visibly labeled as AI-generated in the interface. If you use the voice feature, the spoken replies are AI-generated audio of that same assistant.
3. What the Assistant will not do
- It does not make legal, financial, medical, or insurance decisions for you, and its output is not certified evidence for any of those purposes.
- It does not train on your conversations. The underlying models run under Google Cloud's enterprise terms, which exclude the use of your data for model training.
- It does not answer requests for emissions-control tampering, disabling of safety systems, VIN modification, or odometer fraud. These topics are restricted by design; attempting to bypass these restrictions is a material breach of the Terms of Service for which you may be held accountable.
- It does not act on your records irreversibly without an override path: automatic entries are one-click dismissable, destructive actions require your confirmation.
4. How it stays accurate and safe
- Grounding in your data — assistance is built from your vehicle's actual history and data, not generic guesses.
- Hypothesis, not verdict — findings are presented as a hypothesis with a stated confidence level, and next steps are framed for your review — the decision remains yours.
- Evidence audit — every claim made while assisting you is checked against the underlying records; unsupported claims force the stated confidence down to LOW.
- Safety escalation — safety-critical topics, urgent findings, and low-confidence outputs trigger an explicit warning banner telling you to see a technician.
- Clarify before guessing — when symptoms are too vague, Symbocar asks follow-up questions instead of speculating.
- Reasoning record — every set of assistance findings is stored with its reasoning for 24 months and included in your data export — you can always ask "why did you say that?"
5. Technology
The Symbocar Assistant is built on Google Gemini models. The models run in Google's cloud under an enterprise data-processing agreement; conversations are not used to train them.
6. Your rights and controls
